Today, I gave a presentation to Go Tech World 2019 conference on Cloud Native Java – are we there yet? <\/em><\/a>.
\nIn July, I received the personal invitation to speak in Bucherest, Romania from the organisers.
\nI thought about for a bit and then accepted the great chance to talk in the Eastern frontier of Europe. <\/p>\n

The exhibition space and conference was large featuring several different technology stages including Java, DevOps, Marketing, Digital, Operations and Security.
\nIn the Java Stage area, where I actually spoke, there were seats for up 80 people and the organisers told me that capacity limit was up to 150 people to both sit and stand.
\nMy presentation was well attended at 2:30pm straight after lunch, usually that can be slow period.
\nI think I held the audience’s attention for entire talk.
\nThe track host Victor Horescu<\/a> introduced me on to the stage.
\nI timed myself on 1 hour 11 minutes.
\nDuring the talk, I did take three opportunities to invite one or two questions from the audience.
\nI left plenty of time for questions at the end.
\nAt the end my presentation, several participant asked me questions<\/p>\n
